A 25-year-old Murphy man is a suspect in separate incidents involving a shooting and stabbing in Cherokee County.
At about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service in the Hiawassee Dam community to investigate a report of an individual who had been shot, according to a news release from Sheriff Derrick Palmer.
