Anita Reece Kirkland, a 1979 graduate of Hayesville High School, was recently honored with the Leadership Award for Workforce Development at the 2017 Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Honorary Awards Ceremony. The Leadership Award for Employee Development was established to recognize those individuals who, through their leadership and commitment, have made exemplary contributions to the development of others.
