Thinking of driving to a wedding or graduation in another state? Family vacation? You may want to budget a little more for gas into the travel budget. Drivers have been watching gas prices at the pump edge up all spring, but prices are likely to increase even more as Memorial Day approaches. The holiday, which is the last weekend in May, is considered the official start to summer travel.
North Carolina drivers are already seeing regular unleaded gas prices creeping towards $3 per gallon.
