
The Clay County Board of Commissioners began a new year with a brief, 25 minute meeting Thursday evening approving an update to the county’s transportation plan to include zero tolerance drug and alcohol testing.
They gave Clay County’s Mark Pullium authority to actively pursue a 30 year lease with TVA on Gibson Cove campground land. Commissioner Robert Peck introduced the topic and said lack of action on the lease “is hindering our ability to plan.”
