Tuesday’s Hayesville Middle School Christmas concert is dedicated to Melissa Pilote, the middle school chorus teacher. Elizabeth Moss, left, presents Pilote with a gift from the choral group. Pilote will not return after the Christmas holidays, but will begin her new position at Blairsville teaching chorus. Pilote is a Blairsville resident and has made the trek to Hayesville for the past three years. “I have enjoyed being here and all the talent that is here,” said Pilote. The concert was filled with Christmas songs for the holiday season.
