EMC manager preparing for yearly meeting

More than a year ago, when Jeremy Nelms took the helm as general manager of Blue Ridge Mountain Electric Membership Cooperative, the organization was plagued with bad publicity and even lawsuits, but Nelms was ready and willing to take on the role.

Despite being hired into such a contentious situation in August 2016, Nelms stood and spoke confidently at the Blue Ridge Mountain EMC 2016 annual meeting in September.
