Educators go above and beyond

At the start of each school year, Clay County schools names the teachers chosen by their peers as Teachers of the Year. From among this group, one special teacher is chosen as Clay County Schools’ Teacher of the Year, an honor which takes that person to a regional competition with other teachers of the year.

Clay County schools' Teacher of the Year for 2017-2018 is also Hayesville Elementary School Teacher of the Year, Bonnie Kelly.
