Accident victim remains hospitalized

Automobile accident victim Carolina “Caro” Cruz remains in Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, but is reportedly improving.

Cruz, 36, was the passenger on a Vespa moped that was struck by a van Aug. 22 on Highway 64 at the Carter Cove intersection. The operator of the moped was her boyfriend Sean “Ace” O’Connor who died at the scene.
