Students design, plant tulip garden

Hayesville Middle School’s seventh grade students are participating in planting and monitoring a Journey North Tulip Garden this year. 

Students cleared the garden plot and planted Red Emperor tulip bulbs as required by this exciting test garden opportunity. Their tulip garden has been added to a map on the Journey North Web site with hundreds of other schools across the United States, Canada and United Kingdom. 

Students will report on their planting time, when bulbs emerge and when they bloom.
