Winter bird watch outing around lake

While the weather outside may be frightful, our feathered friends are still enjoying the splendors of life. Join us  at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4 for a special opportunity to observe the bounty of bird life in our own wintertime backyard. The Hiwassee River Watershed Coalition is hosting the Eighth Annual Lake Chatuge Winter Bird Watch as part of its “Get To Know Your Watershed Outings” series. We will meet at Mary’s Southern Grill in Young Harris and carpool to various inlets around Lake Chatuge.
