Georgia man’s condition upgraded from ICU

A Saturday afternoon motorcycle ride ended badly for a Jonesboro, Ga. man. James Dannreuther, Jr., had to be airlifted to Northeast Georgia Hospital with a collapsed lung, several broken ribs and numerous other injuries as a result of the accident at the intersection of Highway 64 and Highway 69.
North Carolina Highway Patrolman Jonathan Cochran was the trooper who investigated the accident which occurred at 3:29 p.m on Saturday, June 4. According to Cochran, Dannreuther, 45, was riding his 2012 Victory motorcycle when he turned left into the path of a Honda SUV driven by Jeanette Nixon.
