The morning rains subsided and smoke and crowds filled the Hayesville square for Saturday’s Butts & Spuds Festival cook-off.
Tickets to the event sold out early, but there were plenty of opportunities for folks to enjoy the evening. Entertainment was provided by Gnarly Fingers and the Folk School Cloggers, multiple food and crafts booths were also set up featuring hamburgers, chicken and various desserts.
Fattom’s took the People’s Choice award after tallying the vote of more than 200 tasters.
