Technology enhances life for care center residents

 As residents are admitted to Clay County Care Center, the staff’s primary goal is that each person receives personalized and quality care. To provide this for residents, a recent development has brought along amazing results courtesy of activities director and licensed recreational therapist Brittany Anderson.

After many revisions and countless drafts, a grant worth $41,204 was approved in October 2017 for the facility to receive three mobile technology systems called iN2L (It’s Never 2 Late). The new technology systems have arrived and have already been implemented in recreational therapy as well as physical therapy practices.

So what is this new technology and how does it work?

The iN2L comes in the form of one 70-inch touch screen interactive monitor and two 23-inch touch screen interactive monitors. The iN2L is a state of the art person centered technology system.
