
The Hayesville Board of Adjustment Thursday evening granted Larry Lamb a five-foot front setback variance to permit him to build a house off Myers Chapel Road.
The zoning ordinance stipulation is for a set-back of 25 feet. Because the property has a large bank in rear, Lamb, who appeared before the committee, said he could not fit a 1,500-square-foot house into the available space without a variance.
