A local man faces drug charges after he was stopped during a May 6 license check conducted by Clay County Sheriff’s deputies on Highway 175.
Casey Lucas Bracken, 27, came through the checking station without a driver’s license in his possession. Upon verification of his license, officers discovered that Bracken had warrants for his arrest for criminal damage to property, according to a press release from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
During his arrest, Bracken was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, Sheriff Vic Davis said in the release. At the detention center marijuana was allegedly discovered on him as well.
