Beattys surprised with celebration

On Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 Jim and Joan Beatty, of Hayesville, were surprised at Hayesville House Assisted Living on their 60th wedding anniversary. Dozens of friends and family dropped in, filled the dining room and held a celebration in their honor to commemorate 60 years of marriage. Over the years, the Beattys have been active in the community and especially with helping all area veterans.
