Two bridges on Myers Chapel Road are being replaced and motorists headed to the Lake Chatuge Recreation Park from town have been taking the detour to the Highway 69 entrance.
The two bridges are technically one project. A large bridge is being built just past the "Y" and another small one about 100 yards away is being replaced.
