Would be used for primary school

Clay County Commissioners voted Thursday night to support the school board in applying for a Needs-Based Public School Capital Fund grant with the hope of building a new school for primary grades.
The grant would require a 25 percent match from the county. The application deadline was Tuesday, Oct. 11. Commissioners agreed unanimously to apply for the funds and see what happens next.
