Local George Lee American Legion Post 532 and Auxiliary Unit delegates recently gathered in Raleigh for the 98th annual Department statewide Convention. Elections were held and new officers were installed for the post and unit.
A range for a new indoor shooting program in Clay County was built locally, transported to the state convention and displayed. Preparing the shooting range is part of ongoing efforts to establish a home-grown Junior Sports Shooting Program.
