Mark Heyward Pullium, the chief financial officer at Pamlico Community College in Grantsboro, N.C. who also served in that capacity for the Fayette County Board of Commissioners in Fayetteville, Ga. has been hired as new Clay County manager.
“It is an honor to be named as the county manager of Clay County,” Pullium told the Progress this week. “My goal is to serve its citizens with excellence. I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the county commissioners for their vote of confidence. My family and I are very excited about this opportunity and look forward to becoming a part of this friendly community in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.”
