
Every year when students depart for summer vacation, the school finance officer and superintendent at Clay County Schools get down to business.
There will be no vacations for them until they determine where the next fiscal year’s funding is coming from for teachers, school supplies and equipment, maintenance, capital expenditures and the myriad of other expenses it takes to operate the school system.
