Stabbing sends two to hospital

Sheriff Davis said on Saturday, April 23, Clay County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 66 George Sorrels Road in Hayesville, in reference to a disturbance.
Upon arrival they encountered a female who had obvious lacerations to her body and was bleeding heavily. They also encountered a male who sustained lacerations to his hand. Deputies secured the scene so EMS could tend to the injured. Both individuals where flown out by helicopter to have their injuries treated.
