Each year a unique group of Kenyan and Ugandan children travel from 410 Bridge communities to America as the Daraja Children’s Choir of Africa, touring across the region to lead worship at churches, schools and events. Sharing gifts of joy and freedom through a worshipful lifestyle of dance, song and personal stories, the global Church is encouraged to go and serve others with their God-given gifts.
Last week, Daraja returned to Hayesville for the third time in a joint effort by Meadow Grove Baptist Church and The Village Church. Members of the choir, teachers and interns stayed with volunteer host families for the duration of their visit. Truett Baptist Church assisted Meadow Grove and The Village with meals for the group.
