‘Woodchuckers’ help to heat up Hinton firewood ministry

Many homes in the area depend on firewood to heat their homes. Some are switching to firewood simply as an alternative to other expensive means. 
This necessity doesn't come cheap, either. A small bundle of firewood costs around $7 and lasts only a couple of days. 
This can add up quickly and no one should have to choose between heating their homes or feeding their families. 
This is why Hinton Center started a firewood ministry in 2012. Through the work of determined volunteers and a small staff, Hinton provides about 60 loads of firewood each year — a load is at least a truck-bed full.
