Death is always a tragic event, but it is even more tragic when the person is young. On Tuesday, Aug. 9 our community was rocked by the death of a 15 year old young man. Nicolas Bell moved to our community from Franklin when he was 4 years old. He played drums for the Hayesville High School band.
He would spend weekends and summers in Franklin with his father Doyle until two years ago when his dad moved to Duluth, Ga. He gave the big city a chance, but decided he preferred the close knit community where his friends and the rest of his family was.
