This is it. The 10th Annual Tractor Parade/Ag Day has arrived. I hope you’ve made plans to come celebrate on the historic courthouse square beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. Enter your favorite pumpkin recipe to be judged. Buy a raffle ticket to win a restored 1952 Ford 8N tractor. Play the Farm Trivia game. Kids can come to the pumpkin patch, choose a pumpkin, design its face and have it carved by one of our many capable volunteers. Enjoy a slice of watermelon but there’s a catch. You have to spit at least one seed in the watermelon seed spitting contest. Have your picture made as the American Gothic couple. Use your cell phone or camera or let us make your picture and e-mail it to you. We are being environmentally friendly and not printing.
