Hayesville High School, with the support of GearUp, will host a student and parent information session Thursday, March 28 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the auditorium.
This session is for upcoming freshmen and sophomores. GearUp for High School will feature guest speakers from UNC-Asheville.
Students and parents will learn about the road to college and how to grab unlimited opportunities to make college happen.
Additionally, valuable information for transitioning to high school and course planning will be presented by HHS administration and staff. All students will be given a course catalog and college planner. If parents are unable to attend the morning session, a second session will be offered that evening from 6-7 p.m. in the HHS lecture hall.
